I found this recipe in 'It's All Good', Gwyneth Paltrow's new cookbook. I was kind of scared to try this 'green monster' but it tastes DELICIOUS! Start your day off with this super amazing green juice, for all the nutrients and health benefits have it before breakfast. YUM!
Serves 1:
5 large kale/spinach leaves, stems discarded, leaves roughly chopped
1 lemon, zest and pith removed (otherwise it becomes bitter)
1 large apple, roughly chopped
A 1 inch piece of fresh ginger
1 sprig of mint
1 stalk of celery, leaves and end removed
1 inch section of cucumber
Anything thats green, put it in... Push through your juicer and drink immediately with ice. (For added benefits/fibre don't strain it).
